1. Controller

Drink Dora AB, Swedish corporate ID no. 559591-2121, Döbelnsgatan 73, 113 52 Stockholm, is the controller for the processing of your personal data according to this policy. You can reach us at hello@drink-dora.com – the same address applies for questions and requests regarding your personal data.

2. What data we process

Identity and contact details: name, delivery address, email address, and phone number.
Order and subscription details: orders, deliveries, subscription status, and payment history.
Payment details: handled by our payment service providers. We never store full card details.
Communication: emails and other messages to our customer service.
Warranty and return cases: details about your case and, to prevent misuse of the satisfaction guarantee, information that the guarantee has been used.
Technical data: IP address, device information, and data collected via cookies; see our cookie policy.

3. Why we process the data and on what legal basis

Managing purchases, subscriptions, deliveries, and payments – to fulfill the agreement with you.
Customer service – to fulfill the agreement and based on our legitimate interest in assisting you.
Warranty and return management – to fulfill the agreement and our commitments. To uphold the satisfaction guarantee's limit of one use per customer, we match email addresses, delivery addresses, and payment methods against previous warranty claims, based on our legitimate interest in preventing misuse.
Accounting – to fulfill legal obligations according to the Swedish Bookkeeping Act.
Marketing – newsletters and similar mailings are sent based on your consent, or to you as a customer based on our legitimate interest in marketing similar products. You can always unsubscribe via the link in every mailing.

4. Who we share data with

We share data with providers who help us run our business: our e-commerce platform Shopify, payment service providers (e.g., Shopify Payments and Klarna), shipping companies (e.g., PostNord), as well as providers of IT, communication, analysis, and marketing tools, such as Meta. The tools we use may change periodically. Providers who process data on our behalf are bound by data processing agreements and may not use the data for their own purposes.

Klarna is an independent controller for its processing in connection with payments – see Klarna’s privacy information. We may also disclose data to authorities when we are required to do so by law.

5. Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Some of our providers process data in countries outside the EU/EEA, primarily the USA. When this occurs, we ensure that the transfer is supported, for example, through the European Commission’s adequacy decision (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses with supplementary protective measures.

6. How long we store the data

Customer and order data: for the duration of the customer relationship and up to 12 months after the subscription ends, or longer if necessary for an ongoing case or legal claim.
Accounting records: 7 years in accordance with the Bookkeeping Act.
Information about used satisfaction guarantee: as long as necessary to uphold the limit of once per customer.
Marketing: until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent.
Cookies: storage periods are listed in the cookie settings on the website.

7. Your rights

You have the right to request access to your data (extract of personal data), rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability, as well as to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can always object to direct marketing, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Contact us at hello@drink-dora.com and we will assist you. If you are dissatisfied with how we process your data, you have the right to file a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (imy.se).

8. Changes

We may update this policy, for example, when we change providers or tools. The latest version is always available at drinkdora.se. In the event of material changes, we will inform you as a customer.
